there are 2 walls , one is drywall and the other is plaster wall 

so it needs to put on top plastic and put 5/8 sheetrock on top 

spackle and primer/painted just the walls 

 

we would like to add (install and finish) another layer of 5/8 drywall on top of an existing wall, with mass loaded vinyl between to help soundproof two adjacent walls. 8.5'x7' and 8.5'x10.5'.
