I think there is a leak and water is coming on through the interior where the molding is. Here are pictures of the outside and inside (the onside is where you can see the water stains):

One Doghouse on top of the roof in somewhere is leaking so, it needs to find out where is exactly is the water getting in through the ceiling.
Underneath the dormer is the living room. In the ceiling is damaging the drywall
Remove the drywall, find out where is the leak and fix it.
Put back the drywall, spackle, and primer the ceiling where is the repaired area.
