Driveway & Awning Removal Scope of Work

1. Driveway Construction (RCA Driveway)

Preparation

• Remove existing grass and vegetation within driveway area.
• Remove small concrete retaining wall at front area as needed.
• Rough grade and level the entire driveway area.
• Prepare subgrade for RCA installation.

Existing Sidewalks

• Keep existing town sidewalk in place.
• Keep existing concrete walkway leading to front door.
• Keep existing side walkway along side of house.
• RCA to be installed around existing sidewalks.

RCA Installation

• Supply and install approximately 20 cubic yards of RCA (Recycled Concrete Aggregate).
• Compact RCA to create a stable driveway surface.
• Final grade to match surrounding sidewalk elevations.
• No asphalt installation.
• No concrete installation.
• No Belgium block or decorative border

Driveway Layout

• Create approximately 18-20-foot-wide driveway entrance.
• Extend driveway to provide parking for multiple vehicles.
• Continue RCA alongside of house toward rear parking area.

Apron

• Install RCA apron at street entrance.
• No concrete apron required.

2. Demolition & Removal

Rear Awning / Canopy

• Demolish and remove existing deteriorated rear wood awning structure.
• Remove all posts, framing, roofing, and associated materials.
• Haul away and dispose of all debris.

Small Porch Cover

• Remove small front/rear porch cover if included in final agreed scope.
• Patch and weatherproof attachment points after removal.

Water Protection

• Install aluminum flashing/trim as required where awnings are removed.
• Ensure siding and building exterior remain weather-tight after demolition.

3. Cleanup

• Remove all demolition debris from site.
• Remove excess soil and waste materials.
• Leave property clean and broom-swept upon completion.
