PROJECT: BASEMENT EGRESS WINDOW INSTALLATION

  1. Remove existing basement window and plastic window well.

 

  1. Excavate area outside window approximately 6' x 6' as needed.

 

  1. Cut foundation wall and enlarge opening for new 36" x 48" egress window.

 

  1. Remove concrete/block debris from site.

 

  1. Install new 36" x 48" egress window.

 

  1. Waterproof and seal around new window.

 

  1. Build cinder block retaining walls on both sides of egress area.

 

  1. Build stairs with lumber

 

  1. Install gravel base and drainage at bottom.

 

  1. Backfill and grade around new walls.

 

  1. Clean job site and haul away debris.
