5 feet by 8feet Bathroom remodel in Bethpage NY

 

  1. Remove all the drywall in the walls and tiles, floor tile and underneath until plywood, in conclusion have a bathroom with no walls and no floor. Only wood studs.
  2. The ceiling drywall stays, exhaust fan stays, maybe some spackle and paint the ceiling
  3. Install new green drywall outside the shower wall and spackle
  4. Install cement board in the shower area wall from the bottom to top, at least up to shower head.
  5. UNDERNEATH THE FLOOR OF THIS BATHROOM, THERE IS THE FIRST FLOOR.

Plumbing work:

  • Replace the trap from bathtub to shower and install new plumbing lineal with mud job- new drain
  • Replace from tub faucet to shower body faucet
  • BASIC SHOWER BODY
  • Reinstall toilet and sink
  •  

 

 

  1. Install new shower floor tile and full shower wall tile from the bottom to top all tile and
  2. Outside shower wall, put also knee tile walls 4 feet
  3. Put new cement board or mud job in the bathroom floor
  4. Install floor tile
  5. Grout all tiles
  6. Install new shower door
  7. Spackle – paint
  8. Replace entrance door and lock – all painted
  9. Replace medicine cabinet, maybe inside the wall
  10. Put the lights
  11. Install bathroom accessories like towel hanger, toilet tissue hanger, etc.…
  12. All wall tiles and floor tiles will be the same size tile or bigger but no subway tile.

 

Building materials subcontractor will provide

 

Homeowner will provide some materials:

  • Tile walls and floor tile
  • Faucet
  • Sink
  • Medicine cabinets

  • Bathroom accessories
